This application provides advanced weather notifications to keep you prepared for rain. With the ability to detect the speed and direction of rain, you will receive push notifications up to 2 hours before it starts raining in your current location. The main algorithm of this app utilizes real-time calculations of radar images, allowing for accurate predictions of surrounding precipitation for the next 2 hours.
Weather Alarm is especially useful for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, motorcycling, and biking. It can also serve as a reminder to move your car to a safe place when hail is approaching.
In addition to push notifications, this app also displays animated radar images over maps, providing a visual representation of incoming weather patterns.
Currently available in the USA, Slovenia, Croatia, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and South Korea.
The main advantage of this application is the ability to provide real-time information on the direction, strength, and speed of an approaching precipitation cell. It only alerts you when the precipitation is moving towards you, ensuring that you don't receive unnecessary notifications. The app can also estimate the time of arrival for a precipitation cell.
